Djalac family ceramic studio lives and works at the picturesque Skadar lakeshore. Though Branka and Zeljko are specialized on the birds and fish figurines they dedicate winter for work over "Cats of Kotor"s order. The process of handmade ceramics production is time and efforts consuming. If winter is rainy (or snowy but it's rare), Branka and Zeljko must wait for a long time while the articles are fully dried. And only after that the articles are being roasted under the temperature 1000-1100 degr. On the contrary, in summers the articles are being dried quickly, too quickly which may lead to the articles' fragility. All handmade mugs and cups are not just the containers for beverages but they really present a few special minutes of relax and life enjoyment. Mugs "Cat on window" were born after watching the cats on the Kotor's houses windows. Seems, they can spend hours looking down at the tourists or up at the flying birds. Mugs "Curious cat" - our cats tend to crawl through a small hole just out of curiosity. Cups with character have their own faces. And not only faces.... The cup can take offense at you and turn its back)) However, the touchy cup ideally fit to the Bird teapot. The mugs are designed for tea- or american coffee-lovers while the touchy cups are for espresso or cappuccino. Only hand washable.
